28th October, 2015, Noida: mElimu got this opportunity to be showcased on Indian Education Entrepreneurship Day (IEED) at New Delhi on 21st August, 2015. The software solution, mElimu is a digital learning platform designed for developing markets like India and Africa.

Damnish Kumar, co-founder and managing director, mElimu shared, “Emerging markets require a solution that goes with their budget, infrastructural facilities and access based requirements. We largely concentrate on mobility of education and raising the bar of quality level of students. Our solution, mElimu works across tablets and laptops and offers a personalized learning environment to the students. The device supports offline learning and battery life for a full day (upto three days of standby). This is how we are extending our technology driven solution to these markets and upscale their education level.”

Organized by TiE, the organization encourages entrepreneurship by mentoring, networking, and educating. TiE had invited applications from various technology setups. Enablers, one of the key sponsors did the selections. Out of all, IEED 2015 showcased 6 companies with their technology products. mElimu was one of them and was shown to a plethora of industry giants.

The event focused on certain crucial aspects like the current education landscape, business models, strategies and startups. The event was attended by the who’s who in the industry like entrepreneurs, education professionals, investors, academicians, innovators, and stakeholders. The event was very successful and one could see trends like #IEED2015 updates across social media.

mElimu the Digital University-in-a-Box Platform was displayed at the event. The demonstrations threw light on transcending the current eLearning ecosystem and creating a path breaking change in the developing markets and make it accessible to everyone. It was an occasion to meet business and solution seeking professionals who were impressed by mElimu and were looking forward to constructive developments from it.
